Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking Coffee Breaks are bi-monthly casual meetups bringing local filmmakers together to connect, crew up, work through creative blocks, and talk about everything film.

Running strong since the early 1990s, this long-standing OSIF tradition offers a welcoming space for creatives of all experience levels to share ideas, build community, and keep projects moving forward.

No agenda, no pressure. Just good coffee, good people, better conversations of all things filmmaking, and the occasional "That's a great idea! When do you want to shoot?"

100% of all ticket sales will go to the winner of OSIF's Script 2 Screen Contest to help make their film!!

Come rub elbows with your fellow filmmakers, watch some hilarious comedians, and help us fill the room for this entertaining networking night, all for a good cause!

OSIF Booze n' Schmooze - Networking Event - June (17 Jun 2026)

The OSIF Booze n’ Schmooze is a bi-monthly after-work film industry networking night, bringing filmmakers and creatives together to unwind, connect, and collaborate over drinks and a bite to eat.

Designed to be casual and welcoming, the Booze n’ Schmooze is where ideas are shared, crews are formed, and projects move forward, all while strengthening the local filmmaking community.

Come rub elbows with your fellow filmmakers, spark new collaborations, and raise a glass to the next great Okanagan project.

This particular Booze n' Schmooze is a special industry crossover networking event, combining filmmakers from OSIF with musicians from Creative Okanagan.
